April 5, 2000

We have arrived.  Ran out of fuel on final approach in teh harbor, transferred the last 6 gals from jerry can and all fine. Been to town.  It is a disaster.  Lots of damage from major civil war. Aerial bombardment.  Had lunch at a (unfortunately) very western east/west restaurant.  Not that we complained too much!  There wasn't a scrap of garnish left on anyone's plate.

We are exhausted.  1770 miles in 17 days.  Slow but very comfortable. hatches open the whole way, clear sky (I mean CLEAR!!!) and pretty flat seas.  Not bad.  The Hoptoads arrive tomorrow morning, having taken a full 3 days longer than the fleeting Margarita.

All for now. Neill and the Margaritas
